Seattle Community Unites to Deliver Nearly 300 Toys to Families in Need
When a community comes together with a shared purpose, the impact reaches far beyond the physical gifts exchanged. This season, the Seattle chapter of Love to Share Foundation America, in partnership with Inspire Love, Inspire Care Foundation, witnessed that spirit in action.
Thanks to the generosity of neighbors across the region, nearly 300 toys were collected and donated to bring smiles and joy to children and families in need. The toy drive reflected the power of unity, compassion, and collective action—demonstrating how small acts of giving can create lasting happiness.
The initiative was led by a dedicated team of volunteers—Prahlad Shankar, Aditya Rajesh, Dhruv Iyer, Anirvedh Ameti, Adharv Ameti, Gurudas Muthukaruppan, and Priyadharshini Muthukaruppan—who coordinated the collection, organization, and delivery of the donated gifts.
The toys were distributed to several local organizations serving families across the region, including:
KidVantage
Friends of Youth
Bethlehem Place
FamilyWorks
Each organization plays a vital role in supporting children and families facing economic challenges, and the donations helped ensure that more families experienced warmth and joy during the season.
The success of this drive stands as a testament to what is possible when community members unite with compassion and purpose. While the toys brought immediate smiles, the greater gift was the reminder that kindness multiplies when shared.
