What an incredible day for Love to Share Foundation America!
On September 26, LTSFA, Houston hosted our 14th Annual Life and Soul Free Health Fair, bringing together healthcare professionals, volunteers, community organizations, sponsors, and local leaders — all with one goal: serving our community.
In just four hours, 100+ volunteers and healthcare providers came together to provide more than 200 screenings, with the support of 18 sponsors and vendors.
This year was especially exciting because of the breadth of services offered, including FibroScan for liver health, thyroid cancer screening, genetic kidney disease screening, podiatry, and Ayurveda, along with our many regular health screenings.
We were fortunate to work alongside wonderful organizations and healthcare partners, including MD Anderson Cancer Center, Alvin Community College, GI Alliance, University of Houston College of Optometry, Southeast Cardiovascular Associates, Coastal Vascular Center, The Rose, IACAN, Thrive Foot and Ankle, and many dedicated healthcare professionals.
We were also grateful to have community leaders join us and encourage the many volunteers and organizations who made the day possible.
But what made the day truly special was the people.
Doctors and healthcare professionals giving their time. Volunteers arriving early and staying until the work was done. Young people stepping up to serve. Sponsors and local businesses supporting us. And families taking an important step toward better health.
Seeing so many people come together for the community reminded us why we started this journey 14 years ago.
Every screening mattered. Every volunteer mattered. Every person we served mattered.
A heartfelt thank you to every healthcare provider, volunteer, sponsor, vendor, community leader, donor, restaurant, youth volunteer, and supporter who was part of this year's fair.
We couldn't have done it without you.
14 years and counting — and we look forward to continuing to serve, together. ❤️
