Sanskrit Classes for Children (Ages 5+)
Our Sanskrit program is designed to make learning this ancient and scientific language both fun and enriching for children. Classes are held once a week for 1 hour and include interactive games, engaging activities, creative projects, and guided assignments to help children steadily build their skills inside and outside of class.
The curriculum is thoughtfully structured across three years, with each year focusing on a different stage of language mastery. Students who complete all three levels graduate with a strong foundation and readiness for advanced study.
YEAR 1: Foundations of Reading
Introduction to vowels, consonants, and conjuncts
Recognition and pronunciation practice
Building the ability to read simple Sanskrit words
YEAR 2: Vocabulary and Grammar
Learning beginner vocabulary and basic meanings
Understanding sentence construction through stories and exercises
Introduction to verb forms and their usage
YEAR 3: Advanced Proficiency (Pravesha Preparation)
Special 3-part series designed to prepare students for the Pravesha exam
Covers higher-level grammar, comprehension, and application
Students' progress through the levels to become exam-ready
📌 Scheduling: Class timings are finalized after registration. Early registrants receive priority in helping decide class times that best fit their child’s availability.
WHY SANSKRIT?
Sanskrit is widely regarded as one of the most structured and scientific languages in the world, and learning it can provide profound benefits for a child’s intellectual and personal growth. It enhances brain cognition by stimulating analytical and logical thinking, while also strengthening the ability to focus and process complex patterns. Regular practice of Sanskrit chanting and recitation expands memory capacity, helping children retain and recall information more effectively.
